Maggie's Centre in Clatterbridge was one of the first temporary centres to be opened, and serves as an interim facility for the residents of Merseyside and Cheshire. The building, designed by Carmody Groarke, utilises lightweight materials and available light to create an open, relaxed atmosphere.

In 2015, Maggie's Clatterbridge, won the RIBA North West small project award.
