I took this photograph of Lake Michigan on my first trip to the USA. Chicago was a wonderful place to walk around and look at architecture and design, but I hadn't considered taking a photo of the lake. This is a long exposure looking out towards the breakwater with the city lights illuminating the scene. The water has turned a misty texture due to the wind and the length of the exposure.
