This curved concrete wall is situated behind the MAXXI museum in Rome. There had been a torrential rain storm and this had created a large puddle which was bouncing light on to the  concrete curve. 

The smooth texture of the concrete meant that all of the peaks and troughs on the water were clearly visible, which I think created an atmospheric beautiful scene. The building was designed by Zaha Hadid Architects, and I had been commissioned to photograph it over the opening few days back in 2010.
